Myers Park is only a few minutes’ drive from the center city and close to many residential neighborhoods. The area offers convenience and variety with its mix of retail establishments, office buildings, restaurants and some of Charlotte's most notable landmarks, such as Queens University, Theatre Charlotte, and Wing Haven (a garden and bird sanctuary created in 1927).
Myers Park United Methodist Church is at the intersection of Providence Road and Queens Road in the Myers Park neighborhood. Three parking lots offer convenient access to the church. The first is directly behind the church on Queens Road. The second is across Queens Road at the intersection of Queens and Pembroke. The third is across Providence Road from the church in the Myers Park Shopping Center, and is available during non-business hours. Take Billy Graham Exit (Charlotte Douglas Airport Exit), which becomes Woodlawn Road as it crosses I-77. Continue Woodlawn Road to Selwyn Avenue; take a left on Selwyn and continue past Queens College and Myers Park Baptist Church at the light; Selwyn becomes Queens Road. Myers Park UMC is on the right just past Oxford and before the next light.

From I-85 South:I-85 to I-77 South. Go South on I-77; take the Morehead Street exit. Turn left on Morehead, and continue for 3 miles the church is at the intersection on Queens and Providence Roads.
