Myers Park UMC has three groups affiliated with our active Singles Ministry:
"Living It": Seeking the Intersection Between Faith and Life - A Ministry for 20-Somethings meets every Sunday, 6:30 - 8 p.m. in Rooms 103-104, Parish Life Building. Your Ministry for Singles (YMS) meets every Sunday at 9:45 am in Room 261 (third floor of the youth building above the gym). The YMS tends to attract single adults in their 20's and 30's. In addition to Sunday School, the YMS keeps an active calendar of activities ranging from mission trips to beach trips to social outings. The YMS is led by a twelve member Council. SAM meets every Sunday at 9:45 am in Room 262 (third floor of the youth building). SAM tends to attract single adults age 30+. In addition to Sunday School, SAM has an annual Spiritual Life Retreat, Beach Trip, Progressive Dinner and regular service opportunities. SAM is led by a Council.
