Between now and Christmas Eve, I will email you a daily (or almost daily!) meditation on the coming of Christ, the season of Advent, and our lives... and these emails will be a good bit shorter than what I usually send!
We will focus on the beginning chapters of the Gospel of Matthew, as something of a prelude to a three month email series (and study within the Myers Park congregation) on Matthew beginning in January: Following Jesus: Blessed and Called. For now, the stories in Matthew chapters 1 and 2 will tell us where Jesus came from, when and why he came, who he was (and is), and how this is significant for us.
As always, you are welcome to forward the emails to anyone or to reuse the thoughts anywhere. And you can always click "reply" to ask questions or to respond with some idea - and the email comes directly into my box. I will answer you as soon as possible.
