Details:	Two-year-olds enjoy play dough, dramatic play, and story time each week. Through these activities, very young children encounter the Bible story and begin their faith journey as disciples of Jesus Christ. Because people learn in a variety of ways, opportunities are provided for visual, musical, artistic, linguistic, kinesthetic, individual, and group experiences with the Bible story. Children take home a Bible Story Picture Card each week to share with their parents. top

Details:	Kindergarten is a transition year for children. The theme for Sunday school is "Praise and Proclaim" which offers children time to learn about worship as they experience worship. They meet our worship leaders, explore the sanctuary, become familiar with the creeds, hymns, and prayers of worship through games, songs, and Bible stories. Each kindergartner receives a red "Worshiper in Training" tote bag to fill with things to do during worship. top

Details:	Third Grade is the year that children receive a Bible from the church. Their Sunday morning theme for the year is "Learning to Use My Bible." Through games, other activities, and a time for worship, children become familiar with the "mechanics" of their Bibles while continuing to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Good News contained in the Bible. top

Details:	Fifth Graders use "Tweens in Transition." This is a year when children begin to question a lot of what they have heard and have been taught. That's a good thing! "Tweens in Transition" is designed to help put understanding of the Bible together and make it relevant to their lives. As "seniors" in Chidlren's Ministries fifth graders are involved in service to others. They coordinate the elementary Christmas stocking event, and are the lead characters in "Kneeling at the Manger" worship service in December. top
