Myers Park United Methodist Church offers Sunday School Classes for adults of all ages and situations in life. An older adult ministry called Adults Plus! and singles ministries entitled Your Ministry for Singles and Single Adult Ministry are also offered. In addition, there are numerous opportunities for adult short and long term studies and involvement with our United Methodist Women (UMW). Check below for further details
Adults Plus!
"Adults Plus! is a caring Christian Community which enriches the lives of Adults 55 and over, through opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, education, servant ministry and travel." It features a monthly luncheon and program with outstanding speakers and entertainers. These are held the third Wednesday of each month September through May. In addition, this active group takes overnight trips to exciting locations, holds an annual spiritual life retreat, and is involved in numerous service projects. Adults Plus! publishes a quarterly newsletter which lists its upcoming events. A copy of the Adults Plus! newsletter may be obtained by calling the Adult Education office at 704-376-8584 ext. 4815.

Adult Sunday School
At 9:45 each Sunday morning, nearly 20 classes of all types are meeting inside the walls of our church. Go to our Adults Sunday School page to learn more about them and to see where you might best fit.
Adult Sunday School Handbooks are now available for viewing and download. This manual is designed with class leaders in mind and provides valuable information about church procedures, class responsiblities and Methodist policies of special interest to your class.
Adult Short and Long Term Studies
