Sunday School

Samaritan Class (young couples) meets Sunday mornings at 9:45 in Room 108 in the Parish Life Building. This group also has an active in social events and service projects. For more information, contact Blake Brookshire, jblakebrookshire@gmail.com.

Socials and Studies

Young Adult Studies: Sundays at 7:00pm, Room 104. Open to ages 20s to 35, singles and couples welcome.  Please join the link to our Facebook group below for upcoming events. 

Young Adult Fellowship: Wednesday nights at 8:30pm at a local venue for dinner and drinks.

2012 Mission Trip:

Brazil June 28th - July 9th 
The Methodist church has been serving inner-city residents of Rio de Janeiro through the People’s Central Institute since 1906. The institute offers daycare and preschool to over 250 children and, with the help of Myers Park UMC, has recently expanded to offer adult vocational programs and English classes. This year’s team will partner with the Methodist Church on ICP’s campus to offer a Vacation Bible School for the children in the area. We will also do some construction work to improve ICP’s facilities and of course spend time together in meaningful worship and fellowship.
Trip cost: $1,950
