Sunday School

Samaritan Class (young couples) meets Sunday mornings at 9:45 in Room 108 in the Parish Life Building. This group also has an active in social events and service projects. For more information, contact Blake Brookshire, jblakebrookshire@gmail.com.

Young Adult Class, Sundays at 9:45am, Youth Buiding Room 259.  Singles and couples from 20 to 35 welcome.

Socials and Studies

Young Adult Studies: Sundays at 7:00pm, Room 104. Open to ages 20s to 35, singles and couples welcome.  Please join the link to our Facebook group below for upcoming events. 

Young Adult Fellowship: Wednesday nights at 8:30pm at a local venue for dinner and drinks.

About the trip - 20 Young Adults flew to serve inner-city residents of Rio de Janeiro through the People’s Central Institute. The institute offers daycare and preschool to over 250 children and, with the help of Myers Park UMC, has recently expanded to offer adult vocational programs and English classes.

Local missoins trips through Appalachia Service Project are coordinated twice a year.
