Revival2011

How is it with your soul? Are you happy? Have you ever really committed to following Christ? Or is it time to make a deeper commitment? From January 9-23, Revival2011 considered these questions, inviting us to explore how God might be calling us to a deeper commitment to Christ.  Though Revival2011 has ended, we continue asking these questions, hoping always that our faith and love will grow deeper with each passing day.  To that end, resources from Revival2011 are available here for continued prayer, reflection, and journeying with God.

Revival Kickoff
The Revival Kickoff, held on January 9 in Jubilee Hall, offered a chance to reflect together on the themes of Revival2011 through music, testimony, and dance.  It marked the beginning of a 15-day journey of prayer and reflection together

Prayer and Reflect

Much of Revival2011 was devoted to prayer and reflection.  Dr. Howell  prepared a daily devotional to help guide us, complete with multimedia.

Commitment Service

Revival2011 concluded with a Service of Commitment in the sanctuary on January 16.  In the service, Dr. Howell reflected on the questions he'd received, and invited us to make a deeper commitment to Christ.
