Food Frenzy Deliveries
Families are needed to help deliver donated food to local food pantries.   About once a month volunteers transport donated food from the MPUMC lobby to one of several food pantries serving our community.  Great activity for a family!  Contact Elizabeth Ignasher, eignasher@mpumc.org, 704-295-4826 if you can help.


Habitat for Humanity
Help build a house on Friday or Saturday, October 15 - 16.  No experience needed!  Lunch and snack providers also welcome for Friday October 15.  Contact Elizabeth Ignasher or Becky Abernethy, eignasher@mpumc.org or 704-295-4826

Church Van Drivers
Drivers needed to pick up guests at the Men's Shelter on Sunday mornings, beginning on September 19.  The driver would need to leave our church parking lot by about 7:45-8:00 a.m., and arrive back at church in time for Church in the Round.  Visitors will attend the New Covenant Sunday school class, and driver will return them to the Shelter at 11:00 a.m.  If interested, contact Kathy Highsmith, kathyhighsmith@yahoo.com.


Help Needed With Furniture and Appliance Drive
Crisis Assistance Ministry is in desperate need of furniture and appliances for families who lack basic amenities.  We hope to organize a one-day furniture pick-up from church members with items to donate.  We need one person to serve as the scheduler and lots of drivers and lifters to participate.  Contact Elizabeth Ignasher, 704-295-4826, eignasher@mpumc.org to volunteer.
