Helping Hands

JULY, 2011

We received thank you notes from HABITAT FOR HUMANITY and from Patsy Burkins, director of CLARA H. JONES SUMMER INSTITUTE, held at First Baptist Church West (on Oaklawn Ave).
We were able to give $500 to each group.




NOVEMBER, 2010

Our class will be contributing $100 to the STCC Parents' Choice Store to help in the purchase of wrapping paper for Christmas gifts.  Our church is connected w/South Tryon Community Church in several areas:  Trinity's Table,  CHAMP pgm,  etc.  REATHA ANDREW is our contact person for this event.




FALL, 2010

Our class has contributed funds to help w/our troops in Afghanistan.  JIM HATFIELD is our contact person in this endeavor.




JULY, 2010

Our class again has contributed to the Clara H. Jones Summer Institute, held at First Baptist West on Oaklawn Ave.  [see the comments from LAST summer, found below]
