This foundational study aims at transformation, calling on persons to submit themselves to examination by Scripture, to put themselves under the power of God’s Word, and to be changed by God’s Word.
(Disciple 2) Into the Word Into the World - 32 weeks
(Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts)
Encourages participants to open up to hear what God has to say to them through the Bible and to be guided into service in the world by Scripture and their study of it.
(Disciple 3) Remember Who You Are - 32 weeks
(Old Testament prophets and the New Testament letters of Paul)
This study concentrates on the Old Testament prophets and the letters of Paul, themes of the call to remember, the call to repentance, the need for renewed vision, and the place of community.
(Disciple 4) Under the Tree of Life - 32 weeks
(IChronicles, 2Chronicles, Ruth, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations, Daniel, John, James, IJohn, 2John, 3John, Jude and Revelation)
The study conveys invitation, welcome, security, and rest - home at last through the study of Scripture. The readings lead the group through a sense of living toward completion, toward the climax of the message and the promise.
Christian Believer - 30 weeks
This study of the classical beliefs of the Christian faith aims at presenting, explaining, and interpreting Christian beliefs as the basic teaching of the church.
Jesus in the Gospels - 30 weeks
Invites participants to look at Jesus in each of the four Gospels and ask the question, “Who is the Jesus that you see?”
