Children's Choirs

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the lands! Serve the Lord with Gladness! Come into the Lord’s presence with singing.” – Psalm 100:1, 2

Children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade Sunday school are eligible to participate in "The Joyful Noise" children's choirs. Exciting new things are going on:

The Alleluia Choir is for kindergarten (children who will be in first grade in fall 2011) and first grade students. There is an emphasis on learning basic musicianship through singing, movement, and instrument playing. Throughout the year they share their gift of music at worship services and special concerts.

The Junior Choir is for students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade who continue their faith journey through the art of singing. They begin to learn how to read music, to sing in parts, learn hymns and songs of faith and understand the meaning of worship.

Music Makers
