On Tuesday, January 16 beginning at 10:30 a.m., Adults Plus! will host a most amazing and inspiring presentation by Terance Painter, owner and artist in residence at The Different Drummer in Maggie Valley NC. “Centered in the Potter’s Hands” is Painter’s message of hope and inspiration, the result of 25 years of pondering at the potter’s wheel. Using Jeremiah 18 as a starting point, he brings his potter’s wheel to the stage using the potter and the clay as a powerful metaphor to describe God’s relationship with each of us.
 

Last year, nearly 70 women of our church were held spellbound by the live storytelling pottery demonstration that Terance brought to the 6^th Annual Women’s Retreat. While there are no words to describe the beauty and poignancy of the message, perhaps a sermon in clay might sum it up best.
